Stalden to Gspon, in a cable car of course! 14th August 2011

Once I arrived at Stalden it seemed only right to take the cable car up to Gspon at 2000m. To this day there are no roads up to the village, so I don't know how they get all the bulding materials for some of the new chalets that were being built!.

I managed to find accommodation directly behind Visp Hospital, in Bildungshaus St. Jodern where my balcony looked right across the landscaped hospital gardens (no NHS concrete piles of fag ends here) to Lorna's room.

Sadly, the Air Zermatt chopper made several visits during our time in Visp and on few occaisions I noticed there were climbers getting out of the helicopter in full kit.
