At last good weather, and a pleasant walk in to do Averau, a grade 2a via feratta. |

With no lift access, the pleasant walk became a sweaty one as we reached the snowline. |

For a grade 2, Averau has an awkward start, but soon becomes straightforward as you move along. Not far past this spot is a split in the route where you can take the stemples up through a chockstone, or carry on the normal route. We eventually returned, down the stemple route. |
